Bodhi Tree Studio Celebrates International Yoga Day
Yoga is regarded as one of the most effective strategies to improve physical and mental well-being as it is a wonderful gift of ancient Indian heritage. The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "yuj," which means "to unite," and represents the connection of mind, body and spirit.  Yoga, in fact, takes a highly holistic approach to achieving peace, health, and well-being between humans and nature. As a result, since 2014, the 21st of June has been designated as "World Yoga Day" to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga. The date of June 20th  was chosen specifically because it is the Summer Solstice the day of the year with the most sunlight.
 As a long time student of yoga, I continue to be amazed at the impact this ancient practice has on all aspects of my life and the lives of this community. Let’s celebrate!

The summer brings us to a time of travels and guests coming and going.  I added this new feature to help you with your commitment to the studio.
Bring your guests into the studio this summer
 What’s new with guest bookings?
Yogis are now able to:
  • Bring one or more guests to class
  • Ensure that their guest's spot is covered ahead of time
  • Have your credits or remaining classes adjusted accordingly
Simply go to the class you wish to allow guest bookings for, and select “Allow yogis to bring guests”. 
 
A reminder for a Personalized Ongoing Practice
If you’re craving a more intimate, one-on-one (or a small group) experience, I continue to offer private sessions designed specifically for you. These sessions create a special time for you to nurture your body and mind in a state of well-being with consistency and intention.
