Welcome to the month of November!!!
Winner of the Great Pumpkin Contest: Susan G….congratulations!

Autumn is in full swing here, trees glowing in rich colors and lovely crisp cool air.  This time of transition has me reflecting on our deep connection between human nature as we develop appreciation; respecting nature's beauty, diversity, and complexity.  I feel most alive when I’m outdoors these days, as nature isn’t just a backdrop for me it is my teacher and my guide...

All of this reflecting, brings me to the state of the world and our American political scene.  To live in the present moment is a spiritual life discipline and goes beyond this election. We will continue to work and hopefully have the patience (regardless who wins), to begin the mending process of this fractured time in history. Be tender to yourself in the days to come and continue to share your kindness, as that is what our Yoga practice is about.
In our practices this month we will note how movement influences fascia and fluid circulation. We’re nurturing our body’s ecosystem. Looking forward to seeing you in class, please register with Momoyoga.

Weaving through the seasons with an open mind and heart, we can appreciate how these changes are part of a bigger picture. Notice the cadence of your yoga practice adapting to the needs of the moment. Perhaps finding yourself drawn to more introspective practices like yin yoga and meditation. Also note what you choose to eat and drink might be different as we nourish our bodies in the presence of this cooler season.

Welcome to those of you are returning after your summer adventures and are recommitting to your practice, love to see you in studio.

This month we will draw attention to hidden patterns that we need to intentionally build self-awareness.  Here we build honest and compassionate internal dialogues, dig deeper into what our real motivations are and have the humility to know you can learn more. Self-awareness changes us!

The studio’s tradition of the great pumpkin contest takes place this month as you guess the weight of the pumpkin, and receive 2 studio passes!

An Autumn Evening of Restorative Yoga
Thursday the 26th at 5pm-6:30.
Restorative sessions have been helpful to all my students.  We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely.
I am offering this 90 minute Restorative Yoga Special class with individual essential oils just for you.  Please register with Momoyoga.

Welcome to the month of August, thank you for being an endless source of inspiration and being part of this community.

Our focus this month will be functional movement in our yoga practices to continue to strengthen our ability to perform everyday tasks safely, efficiently and sustainably. A functional approach in yoga, emphasizing controlled movements that transpire into everyday life, such as walking, squatting, bending, lifting, and reaching. The integration of stability, mobility and flexibility supports natural movement patterns and helps us adapt to the physical demands of daily life, and minimizing the risk of injury.

Yoga Therapy
The Yoga Therapy class continues to grow and evolve, they offer a comprehensive range of tools that address various aspects of our present health. This yoga therapy practice has appropriate modifications for participants’ unique bodies and medical histories, with a practice of calming breath to be aware of the connections within. Private sessions are also offered so you can focus on your needs one-on-one.
Recently a couple of the students have moved on with confidence to the morning classes, congratulations to Theresa and Cheryl!
Please feel free to inquire for more information about this class or have a consolation with me.
