​This month is an opportunity for us to pause, to reconnect with ourselves, and to recommit to our practice.
Yoga helps us restore balance both physically, mentally and emotionally.   I hope that your practice is calling you back to your mat at Bodhi Tree.
 
Debbie A.  Is the winner for September’s prize for the evening of October’s Restorative Session.

​The great pumpkin contest takes place this month as you guess the weight of the pumpkin, and receive 2 studio passes!
 

Strengthen Your Body and Restore Your Health! Our bodies were made to move, so sitting for extended periods of time can limit mobility and sabotage our overall wellbeing. Maybe you’ve heard the saying, “motion is lotion.” Movement helps keep our bodies feeling vibrantly alive, allowing us to keep doing the things we love to do.
Workshops coming this fall:
Oct 15th: Ankle Strength & Mobility
In this workshop we will explore exercises to help increase the range of motion of the ankles. We will also learn how to stretch and strengthen our ankles for balance and greater ease when walking.  We will boost our performance in our yoga practice as well as all of our daily activities. Open to everyone.
 
November 12th: Yoga for Strength and Balance Training: Focus on Fracture Prevention
Like most of us, you may have become accustomed to thinking that only common weight-bearing exercises—walking, running, jumping, and lifting—provide enough stress on your bones to maintain or increase their density. Scientific studies have shown that yoga can prevent and reverse bone loss. We will practice yoga poses that will safely build and strengthen your bones. Open to everyone.
