Class Schedule and Descriptions
Mindful Vinyasa: Monday 9am-10:15 with Julia This energizing practice offers a continuous series of flowing postures. This class invites joy, connection, and a rewarding sense of purpose by incorporating the philosophy of the Eight Limbs of Yoga. Open to all practitioners. Beginners Yoga: Monday & Wednesdays 10:30-11:15 with Shelley This class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in yoga. Emphasis is placed on understanding, safety, and stability. A great class to build from and feel confident to go forward in your practice. Vinyasa: Tuesdays 9am-10:15 with Shelley In this class poses are linked together with movement and with moments of stillness that are inspired by the rhythm of our breath. This revitalizing practice connects you to the wisdom, strength and grace of your own body. Yoga Therapy: Tuesday & Thursdays 11-12:15 with Shelley This class promotes self-healing through very gentle movements. Each student is given personal attention with modifications of the yoga postures according to individual needs. The class is suited for those recovering from an injury, recently released from physical therapy or those with chronic conditions. Yin Yoga: Wednesday 9am-10:15 with Shelley Yin is a quiet practice. It consists of floor-supported postures that are held for a minimum of two minutes to improve joint mobility, circulation, and flexibility. This practice emphasizes stillness and quiet, as it prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation. It is a great compliment to the more active styles of yoga. Gentle Hatha: Wednesday Evening 5pm-6 with Julia Gentle Hatha (beginner friendly) for those who want to take their time getting into poses, focusing on proper alignment with modifications. Enjoy deep stretching and leave feeling relaxed. Upbeat Flow: Wednesday Evening 6:15pm-7:15 with Julia An opportunity to challenge your strength and your ability to surrender. Each class is a uniquely sequenced practice set to music allowing you to feel, breathe and be in your body. Be prepared to discover your very best self. Gentle Hatha: Thursday 9am-10:15 with Shelley A class for those who prefer a soft, gentle approach to yoga; a gift to yourself. Vin-Yin: Friday 9-10:15 with Shelley The first half of this class is moving in flow and the second half is staying stationary. This is a peaceful bridge to balance. Saturday Yoga: 9-10:15 with Shelley Everyone is welcome to start the weekend with this fun filled practice. This class weaves a variety of yoga styles with practical and relatable themes. Enjoy this community practice. We will take Saturdays outside the studio when weather permits... June 23rd: Our Yogi Susan has invited us for the outside Saturday at her home....
