Back from my Yin Yoga teacher training…intensive. Ah, 50 hours of yin yoga, all is good.
I learned so much and truly I am excited to share. Much of the teaching is unlearning about previous ways of practicing yoga, but I have been heading this way for some time now.
Tired of the cookie cutter effect as Bernie would say.
No one is the same in my classes, different bodies, different histories, different injuries, different EVERYTHING! So why do we expect to look the same????
Principles of yin: going to the edge- stillness- time
Rumi says, we’ve been walking in the surf holding our robes up, when we should be diving naked under, and deeper under.”
Come to the studio and take a yin class and then see what happens….
